Established in 1969, Aleeda has been making wetsuits and lycra products in Australia for 50 years. With a reinvigorated approach to how they manufacture, the team is using Lycra recycled from old nylon fishing nets and nylon waste products to create “truly ocean friendly” rashvests. The team is also in the midst of its first release wetsuit (due late 2019) made from Limestone based neoprene featuring recycled PET bottle linings.

Aleeda made the choice to partner with Clean Oceans based on a commitment to the water, the wildlife and their support of Surf Clubs. As a supplier to over 100 Surf Clubs, 30 plus Surf Schools, Government Agencies and Aquatics Programs, we simply couldn’t sit back and wait for someone else to do something. We had to commit and go big to get rid of plastic. It starts with sustainable manufacturing and ends with us committing to help fund Clean Ocean projects at Surf Clubs across the country. Aleeda – Australian Made, Ecologically Sound and Damn Proud of it!!
